What is the CIBC World Markets Miracle Fund Program?
In 2004, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Miracle Day, the CIBC World Markets Childrens Foundation announced a gift of $650,000 to the Childrens Aid Foundation to establish the national Miracle Fund program. The Miracle Fund program provides funding for enrichment opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable children. These enrichment opportunities include such things as sports equipment, music lessons or support for children with special needs. The Miracle Fund currently benefits children in nine cities across the country including Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
