What is the Chlamydia test?
The test is simple and painless and totally voluntary-you dont have to have the test-you can refuse. If you do want to have the test you will be asked to fill in a form-ask for help if you want. We also need a way of contacting you with your result. This can be your address, mobile number or email address. What if you have chlamydia? If we did find Chlamydia-we will give you free antibiotic tablets to sort it out. We will also talk to you about the people you have had sex with. They might need to be treated and or tested to stop them having problems in the future and passing the infection on. Where can I get a test? You can take a test at any specialist Young Persons Sexual Health Clinic in Barnet, or at any of our other Contraception and Reproductive Health Clinics. Some chemists and most GPs in Barnet offer the test.
