The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hood & Somervell Counties (CACHS) is a nonprofit public / private collaboration that provides a coordinated, multi-agency approach to the investigation, intervention, and treatment of child sexual and severe physical abuse. Our mission is to break the cycle of child abuse through collaborative intervention in a child friendly environment. Our facility includes a staff of highly skilled and specially trained individuals who work closely with Child Protective Services (CPS), law enforcement organizations and prosecutor’s offices from throughout Hood & Somervell counties, as well as our medical partners at Cook Children’s Hospital and John Peter Smith Hospital.
