What is the Chevening scholarships?
The Chevening Scholarships provide postgraduate courses aimed at mid-career professionals and future leaders. The successful candidates are given awards following a competitive selection process. Up to 2/3 candidates a year may pursue master’s level studies at universities in the UK. Chevening scholarships in Armenia are offered by the British Embassy in Yerevan and administered by the British Council. The Chevening Programme was established in 1983 as the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Scholarships and Awards Scheme and took its name in 1994.
