What is the “Chère Famille” letter contest?
Each year VIE sponsors a contest for the best “Chère Famille” letters written by American students to their French host families. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top letters from spring and summer program participants. We encourage students to present themselves well to their future French host families since these materials are the basis for making the Family Stay placement.
