What is the Checkpoint Program?
Checkpoint is an educational program at University Health Services that addresses participants’ knowledge, attitudes and behavior concerning alcohol and other drugs; encourages responsible decision making; and provides appropriate referral for those in need of further services. Participants have been referred as a result of a policy or legal violation or are individuals who want to increase their ability to make low-risk decisions concerning alcohol and other drug use.
