Right now, Southwest have a special $49-$99 each way. Until tonight, Monday January 26, 2009, 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time is when the special expires and all travel must be completed by March 11th. All airlines, for a limited time are doing price matching so if you find a fare cheaper by another carrier, the airline will reimburse you the difference and 10% more. It is needed as fewer Americans are flying during this recession and plus is the quiet time of the year as business doesn’t pick up until March or April for Spring Break and after Memorial Day for the summer travel season.
