What is the change in the license management in VMware vSphere?
The license management has been simplified starting with VMware vSphere 4. Each VMware vSphere host will be assigned only one license key for the entire “bundle” (e.g. VMware vSphere Enterprise) rather than a separate license for each feature. The same license key can be shared by many VMware vSphere hosts, subject to the key’s maximum CPU count.
