What is the Championchip technology?
The ChampionChip timing system will be used. Every runner will be given a Chip when collecting his bib and kit bag at Marathon Expo. This chip must be fixed to the lacing of one of your shoes. The chip will be collected by the organiser at the finish of the race. In case of withdrawal or cancellation, chips must be returned to the organiser 15 days after the race, at the latest. Any non returned chip will be charged 15 euros and the competitor will be disqualified. This chip is the property of the organiser. This chip has been designed especially for this race, it cannot be reused for another race. The chip is reset at the start line. Checkpoints will be placed on the course and at the finish line to control each runner’s timing. For your time to be credited to you at the finish, you must have run the entire race on the roadway.
