The Centre for Longitudinal Studies (CLS) is an ESRC Resource Centre based at the Institute of Education, University of London. CLS houses three of Britain’s internationally renowned birth cohort studies, the 1958 National Child Development Study (NCDS), the 1970 British Cohort Study (BCS70) and the Millennium Cohort Study (MCS) (a cohort of children born in 2000-01).
