What is the Centre for Bioscience?
The Centre for Bioscience supports a large network of learning and teaching practitioners involved in HE bioscience throughout the UK. We provide funding, events, resources and a large number of opportunities to network with bioscience learning and teaching practitioners from a variety of institutions and roles. We initiate, gather and disseminate examples of good practice in learning, teaching and assessment which have been developed and successfully implemented by bioscientists across the UK. The Centre for Bioscience offers a unique focal point and will help you stay in touch with what matters in learning and teaching in the biosciences. Formed in 2000, the Centre for Bioscience is one of 24 discipline-specific Subject Centres established to recognise many issues are specific to individual disciplines and are inadequately covered by cross-disciplinary agencies.
