What is the Central Childcare Bursary Scheme?

0

The University’s Childcare Bursary Scheme offers financial awards that contribute towards costs of Ofsted-registered childcare for University students from overseas or the EU, to enable them to study while bringing up children. These awards can help towards both pre-school and/or out-of-school or holiday childcare for school-age children. The bursary is not a loan and does not need to be repaid. Bursaries are means-tested. A bursary is intended to assist with the costs of Ofsted-registered childcare and NOT with the general expenses of having a child. Bursaries are funded by College contribution and therefore overseas and EU students are only eligible if their College has agreed to contribute. Colleges that subscribe to the pre-school and the out-of-school parts of the scheme are listed below.
