What is the Cecchetti Ballet Method?
Cecchetti Syllabus classes are taught by teachers certified by the Cecchetti Council of America. We believe that each student s technique is greatly improved by weekly syllabus classes. Enrico Cecchetti, founder of the Cecchetti method, believed that it is more important to execute an exercise correctly once than to do it a dozen times carelessly. We believe that by pairing a structured syllabus class with quick study classes, we can offer our students both a firm technical foundation as well as development of their artistic abilities and expression. Syllabus students are required to learn French terminology, theory, musical application as well as a basic understanding.
