What is the cause and what are the effects of dirty oil?
If an engine was 100% efficient and completely sealed, the oil would never break down – but we know that this is impossible. There are two sources of contaminates that enter into an engine. The first source is dirt particles from dirty air, and the second source is contaminates that enter into the oil from the combustion process through exhaust gasses leaking past the pistons. This is where the chemicals such as water, sulfur, fuel and the carbon gases (Monoxide and Dioxide) enter the oil. The combination caused by these particles and chemicals forms a sludge which ruins the lubricating qualities of your oil. LuberClean is the only product that performs preventive maintenance on your oil. The LuberClean Refiner removes the water and fuel, and neutralizes these corrosive acids – thus maintaining the proper viscosity of the oil. LuberClean does this at a rate of 10 gallons per hour. By doing this the engine stays cleaner, runs smother, and lasts longer!
