What is the Career Switcher program?
The VCCS Career Switcher Program provides accessible, effective teacher preparation to meet the needs of the Commonwealth of Virginia for skilled, talented, diverse, and highly qualified teachers. Virginias community colleges have become the latest providers in a statewide “career switcher” initiative. The natural network of the 23 community colleges located throughout the state, combined with the VCCS distance learning capabilities, offer ideal access to this opportunity.
