In 1994, the Career Education Center received a contribution of $2 million from MBNA America Bank. MBNA’s gift funded construction of the MBNA Career Education Center, including technology improvements to support student job searches. The gift, supplemented by additional funding from the Main Campus, also supported renovation of student life space on the first floor of the Leavey Student Center.
