Because grains have been removed, Core is 59% lower in carbohydrates than our Complete Health Chicken diet. Complete Health Chicken has 29.5% total carbs and CORE cat has 12% total carbs. NOTE: Since there are no NRC/AAFCO guidelines on what level of carbs is appropriate for cats, it is not legal form a regulatory standpoint to make a Low Carb claim. There is no baseline of what is high or low.
