What is the Capital Improvement Fee (CIF) that appears on my theatre ticket receipt?

0

It is standard practice in theatre business to have a Capital Improvement Fee or CIF charged on each individual ticket. Some theatres call them Patron Fees, some Restoration fees. The CIF helps sustain the upkeep of the building and services we are able to provide to our guests. This revenue will continue to allow us to improve our facility for all to enjoy. Please note that effective April 1, 2011, a $1.00 Capital Improvement Fee will be added to all tickets sold for performances at The Mack or Studio 1.
