APTsorb has been tested for total capacity using a standard cation exchange capacity test. Measured in this manner, the total capacity for copper is around 130 meq/100 grams. This is a standard unit for ion exchange capacity and is used in industry to describe ion exchange resin performance. Most resins have a capacity of between 180 and 300 meq/100 grams depending on the individual resin.
