What Is The Cancellation Policy?
Ten or more days before your trip, receive a full refund. For guided trips 24 hours before, receive a 50% refund or a 100% voucher. Cancel the day of the trip and receive a 100% voucher. For all trips, no-shows are non-refundable. Even though you are not going on the trip we still have to pay guides, office staff, and drivers as well as deal with lunch that we prepaired for your group.
The hotel can require a maximum time limit by which you can cancel without be charged by no penalty. If you cancel the booking after this limit, the hotel can charge your credit card with an amount as a penalty for the unsold rooms. Before confirming your booking definitively, you are shown with the following data: the date, the time of the cancellation and the penalty amount. For instance, the writing “Time limit 2 days, first night penalty” means that cancelling within 2 days (48 hours) before the check in date, no penalty is applied. Otherwise cancelling when the time limit is less than 2 days at the arrival you will be charged with the first night stay. The cancellation limit without penalty can vary from 48 hours to a few weeks, but it depends on the hotel and the season. The value of the penalty is decided by the hotel and can vary from the first night to the total amount of the booking.
To ensure the safety and integrity of your reservation, all cancellations must be received in writing with a signature. A cancellation received 30 or more days prior to the start of the EHS semester will result in a 100% refund of the license fee; received less than 30 days before the start of the EHS semester will result in a 65% refund; and received on or after the start date of the EHS semester will result in no refund. The $200 membership fee is non-refundable, except in cases in which the application is not accepted. All refunds take 8-10 weeks to process and a refund in check form will be mailed to your permanent address. No refunds are issued via credit card.
Check the tours conditions page. Full refund will be made (less 50 EUR service fee) if written cancellation notice is received 45 days before departure. If you cancel 44-30 days prior to the start date of the tour, the cancellation fee is 30% (active tours 50%). If you cancel 29-15 days prior to the first day of the tour, the cancellation fee is 50% percent (active tours 60%). If you cancel 14-10 days prior to the start date of the tour, the cancellation fee is always 70%. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 10 days before the commencement of the tour. If, for any reason, StayPoland cancels the tour, all monies will be fully refunded.
