What is the Canadian Tire Foundation for Families?
The Canadian Tire Foundation for Families (the FFF) is a registered charity whose mission is to help families in need during times of crisis in order to ensure that life’s basic needs are met (food, shelter, clothing and essential goods). The FFF runs three major programs: (i) Regional Disaster Recovery, (ii) Community Programs and (iii) Canadian Tire Jumpstart – the national signature program which is a community-based charitable program that helps children in financial need participate in organized sports and recreation. In operating these programs, the FFF collects and uses personal information from recipients, donors, volunteers and stakeholders.
