What is The Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network?
We are a collaborative research group dedicated to reducing the number of Canadians who struggle with language and literacy. We are also dedicated to increasing the number of individuals who are highly qualified to solve problems of language and literacy through research and practice. The mission of the Network is to help Canadians develop the communication abilities that they need to achieve a more fulfilling life. The Network recognizes that language and literacy deficiencies do not have a single cause. That is why we are organized across five multi-disciplinary research themes to study all aspects of language, communication and literacy development.
