What is the camps policy concerning phone calls home and phone calls from home?

0

Phone Calls Home: Each bunk will have a designated Phone Home Time while at camp. Parents and caregivers will be informed as to when to expect a call from their child (Ex. Ruth A will have Phone Home Time on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. Parents and caregivers can expect to hear from Lisa sometime between 7 and 9 P.M.) Phone Calls From Home to Camp: It is our desire to provide each camper with a fluid, fun, and exciting camp day. For this reason, we prefer that calls into camp be limited to emergencies only. Please remember to reserve calls into camp for emergencies only (remember that the sound of a loved ones voice can stir up some “home sickness” that might have otherwise not been present). Cell Phones: In order to best build the connections between campers and camp staff, campers are not permitted to have cell phones.
