What is the camp policy on discipline?
The following steps* are taken: 1) Establishing and stating clear guidelines up front. 2) Reinforcing proper behavior. 3) At first offense, give clear warning. 4) Time out or take away privileges. 5) Take problem to the Administrative Staff. 6) Send home – It is a general policy that any child requiring more time than we have to give or negatively affecting other campers’ experience will be sent home. 7) Give offender “way back” into good graces. *Steps can be skipped according to seriousness of situation.
