The Camino de Santiago, or “Way of St. James” is an ancient pilgrimage to the Cathedral in the city of Santiago de Compostela in Northwest Spain. The Cathedral is commonly understood to house the earthly remains of St. James the Apostle – one of the twelve original disciples of Christ in Christian theology.
