CalWorks (California Work Opportunities and Responsibility to Kids) is California’s welfare reform program for people who have children under the age of 19 and who are receiving TANF benefits. The CalWorks Program at SMC offers academic and employment services to students who qualify. For more information, please call 310-434-4210 to schedule an appointment to see a CalWorks Counselor.
