What is the CalSTRS VIP Information Line?
The CalSTRS VIP Information Line at 800-699-4032 is an automated telephone system that lets you perform most account transactions over the phone. (It is a separate system from the CalSTRS Member Services.) When you call the CalSTRS VIP Information Line at 800-699-4032, you are asked to enter your Social Security number and Personal Identification Number. Then a recorded voice guides you through the menus, and you make your selections by pressing the appropriate keys on your telephone keypad. (If you are using a rotary phone, you will be connected automatically to a Participant Services Representative available Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, except on New York Stock Exchange holidays.
