What is the Call Request Size, and how big should the Call Request Size be for a campaign?
• The Call Request Size field refers to the number of calls that the update server will pull at one time. • It is not unusual for the amount of records to be greater than the Call Request Size amount due to the Dialer server requesting up front a set of records. • The Dialer/Update Server always tries to keep the queue populated. In addition, several ‘populate’ messages can be sent at varying times. Note:Do not worry about the queue level getting close to 1000. • Refer to the recommendations below for determining Call Request Size: • 200 for campaigns which have a large number of agents (20 or more). • 100 for campaigns which have a smaller number of agents (10-20). • 50 for campaigns which have less than 10 agents.
