What is the cable between the adsl filter and the router?
You seem to be missing a part of the equation, unless what you are referring to as a router is actually a modem/router. The DSL modem connects to the phone line with any telephone cord. You do not necessarily need a filter for the DSL modem, unless you are using a combo filter that has DSL and phone ports on it, and you connect the modem to the DSL port of the filter. So I am assuming that the router you have is a combination modem and router, the cable you need is a phone cable with RJ11 plugs (smaller than RJ45 network plugs). While twisted pair phone wire is generally recommended for longer distances, I have had no issues using a 25 foot flat modular telephone extension cord for DSL. After all, the DSL signal is connecting to the phone company over a much longer distance with standard phone lines. If the router you have is just a broadband router with no modem built-in, then you would also need a DSL modem. The router would connect to the modem with standard ethernet cable (RJ45 plu
