What is the CAB and who are its members?
The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) is a professional industry association that represents the vast majority of Canadian programming services – including private television and radio stations and networks, and specialty, pay and pay-per-view television services. Established in 1926, the CAB has over 600 members. Canada’s private broadcasters are the voice and choice of Canadians, enjoying by far the largest share of the market, and Canadian programming broadcast by those services attracts the predominant share of the total audience for Canadian content.
