What is the Bundaberg Rum Bush Fund?
The Bundaberg Rum Bush Fund is a fund raising program created by Bundaberg Rum, in partnership with Landcare, to assist Australian regional communities to rebuild and sustain landscapes affected by drought. What has the Bundaberg Rum Bush Fund done in the past? Since it’s inception in 2003, the Bundaberg Rum Bush Fund has held a variety of unique fund raising events to help regional communities protect and repair Australia’s waterways. In 2004 the Bundaberg Rum Bush Fund also staged the Murray River Revival Tour — a ten-day concert tour to highlight issues affecting the river. This initiative raised $150,000 in grants for local Landcare group’s restoration efforts. In 2006 the Fund introduced Bundaberg Rum style sporting events with great success.
