What is the Bubbler System?
When the weather turns hot, algae in the Stockton Channel tends to cause odor and make the water look green. To address this problem, a bubbler system has been installed. This system will mix the water, reducing odors that may otherwise occur when the weather gets warmer. Construction of the bubbler system began the week of March 6. The project is expected to be completed by May 2006.
