What is the BTEC Advanced Award in Training and Presenting?
The award is an NVQ level 3 in training and development. It has been designed to enable the assessment of a candidates ability to design and deliver learning programmes, monitor own performance and development and to identify the needs of the learner. How is the award achieved? An NVQ is achieved by the assessment of your ability to carry out a series of tasks (performance criteria) and to ascertain your competence in those particular areas. During the course and for ten weeks after completion of the course, you will be assessed on your ability to carry out the following: Evaluate and develop own practice Design learning programmes Develop training sessions Enable learning through demonstrations and instruction Enable group learning N.B.
