What is the Broadjam 6-Pack Songwriting Competition?
The 6-Pack consists of six individual songwriting challenges that take place between June and December of 2008. Each songwriting challenge increases in difficulty, testing the skills of even the most versatile writer. This year, over $85,000 in prizes are on the line with a $25,000 Grand Prize for the overall winner. Prize packages are awarded to three winners in each challenge, and the top 20 artists overall will also receive prizes. This week we’d like to give you a taste of who is at the top of the competition by looking at the leaderboard for the first four songwriting challenges. The leaders for the last two challenges will be rolled out in the near future so keep an eye on the leaderboard and leave your thoughts on the blog while you’re there.
