Founded in 1987 as a sub-group of the British International Studies Association (BISA), the BIHG exists to draw together all those interested in teaching and researching into the history of international relations at university level in the UK. The BIHG committee is made up of some of Britain’s most prominent academics in this field, and also contains representatives from The National Archives and the FCO.
