What is the brightest star in the night sky?
Depends where you are and time of year, otherwise the star Sirius is the brightest followed by Canopus, Arcturus, Alpha Centauri A, Vega and Rigel. The most fascinating is the 9th brighest, the red giant Betelgeuse you can find this star in the upper right shoulder of Orion (Rigel is in orion also its the constellation’s left knee).
