WHAT IS THE BP STUDENT TUTORING SCHEME?
It is a voluntary scheme, which involves placing students in local primary and secondary schools to work with pupils under the supervision of the classroom teacher. The scheme lasts for fourteen weeks over the Winter and Spring terms. You would start your placement after you had received training and had completed a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure check. The BP Student Tutoring Scheme is managed jointly by: The University of Aberdeen, the Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen College. It is supported by Aberdeen City Council and BP.
