What is the BP policy on contractor training?
Contracting companies are responsible for ensuring the competencies of their workers. Courses that are delivered by third party vendors are the financial responsibility of contractor workers and their companies (i.e. technical training, defensive driving, crane, etc.) Courses that are developed by BP and available solely through BP (i.e. Offshore Orientation and Safety Academy) are the only courses that will be paid for and managed by BP. The TCF Admin Team can assist contractors by providing information about third party vendor training.
