A Tawaf should be performed at least one foot away from Kaaba so that one does not touch the foundation of Kaaba, outside of Hajre-Ismaeel and inside of Muqame Ibraheem. Do not touch the walls of Kaaba or Hujre-Ismaeel. If one cannot perform taawaf inside of Maqame-Ibrahim due to rush then it is permissible to perform tawaf outside of Maqme-Ibrahim.
