What is the Botox Cosmetic procedure like?

Dynamic wrinkles are ones that are only present when the face is animated (when muscles of facial expression contract) and disappear when the face is completely at rest. Botox Cosmetic interrupts the signal from the nerve to the muscle to contract, smoothing away the dynamic wrinkles.
Static wrinkles, those present when the face is completely at rest, are usually not helped by Botox Cosmetic alone and may require additional procedures, such as dermal fillers or lasers.
