What is the Borough Council?
The Borough Council is the governing body for the municipality. • Who is on it? How are the members chosen? What is their term of office? How much are they paid? There are 7 members of the Borough Council. All are residents of the Borough elected by the voters. Their terms are 4 years. They are not salaried. • How is the Borough organized? The Borough is organized as a Faulkner Plan E municipality under the laws of New Jersey. This is a Council-Manager form of government.
