What is the Blue Lagoon?
The Blue Lagoon is a pool of geothermal sewater (2/3 saltwater and 1/3 freshwater). The source of the water is as deep as 2000 meters/6000 feet. The seawater is led directly from its natural source to the Blue Lagoon where guests enjoy bathing enveloped in the warm blue water. Blue Lagoon has become one of Iceland’s most visited tourist place and is also very popular among Icelandic people. Blue Lagoon manufactures and distributes geothermal skin care products, which all include some or many of the unique ingredients found in Blue Lagoon.
