What is the Biochemical Society?
The Society exists to communicate biochemistry internationally. It achieves this by communicating with members via: • the membership magazine the Biochemist and its online companion Biochemist e-volution • the Society’s book and journal publishing programme undertaken by its not-for-profit publisher Portland Press • involvement in Society meetings by either attending or submitting proposals to run your own focused meeting • participation and debate on policy, professional and education issues.
