What is the BIIAB Level 2 Door Supervisor training course?
The SIA issues licences to door supervisors who meet their criteria. In the interests of the industry as a whole and in support of its licence to practise, the SIA invited BIIAB and City & Guilds to work together to develop the BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors. To qualify for an SIA licence you will need to satisfy three requirements: 1) Pass an identity check 2) Pass a criminal records check 3) Possess a recognised door supervisor qualification The BIIAB Level 2 Door Supervisor training is such a recognised qualification and consists of two units: Unit 1 – Roles and Responsibilities of Door Supervisors – Including how to comply with the law, admission policies and procedures, refusing entry, searching, seizing articles, eviction, use of force, how to deal with emergencies, drugs, arrest, scene preservation and report writing.
