Answer The biggest national event is probably Club Cup of Polish Soccer League. However Polish are like other Europeans – whenever any national team or an athlete starts wining in almost any sport attention goes there. Recent example is World Cup in Olympic Handball. Normally handball is not that popular but since Polish team started wining and finally made it to final and just missed the gold medal losing to Germany handball is the thing of the day. At the same time people are watching ski jumping since Adam Malysz, who won a few word cups is flying on his skis again. I have lived through soccer craze, cycling craze, pole vault craze, motorcycle dirt speedway craze, table tennis craze, alpine skiing craze and many other crazes. In that respect Polish and other Europeans are so much different from Americans who by the most part are interested only in baseball world series and American football super bowl.
