What is the Biggest LIE ever told to the American people?
I’m pretty fond of that movie quote myself. We are “as good as” anyone else. Unfortunately, some Americans feel superior. I believe it’s because we’re brainwashed to believe that we are. How? From birth we’re told how compassionate we; The Mighty American, is while all other countries are barbaric and evil. We’ve been led to believe we’re wealthier, more intelligent, cleaner, the most powerful, less savage, that we’re God’s chosen people(I thought that was the Jews Biblically, but I’ve heard it all..lol)…etc. I think Aunt Eller had it spot on and I agree – We’re no better than anyone else, but we’re just as good. It’s an unfortunate travesty that there is so much hate and violence in the world. Much of this can be attributed to what most people love the most – religion. Sadly, many lies have been told and many truths have been twisted to create the belief that man is superior to women — that women are mere objects to be treated less valuable than livestock.
