What is the biggest challange to the IBE Service officer: How did they meet that challenge?
The biggest challenge to the IBE service officer is getting the entire company involved. As the IBE service officer, Central Warmth calls this position the Service Project Manager; I find it hardest to get the other members of the company excited about service opportunities. Not having other company members excited about the service projects makes it hard for them to attend-in turn making it take longer to reach the service hours and forcing the Service Project Manager to plan more activities. To overcome this challenge, I voiced how I felt to my company and did my best to get them involved. I created sign-up sheets to ensure that everyone knew there were things to be done, and kept my company well-informed of dates and times.
