• The Waste Reduction and Recovery Act enables the Minister of ENR to establish an advisory committee to provide advice and assistance relating to recycling programs established under the Act. • The Advisory Committee was established in March 2004. Membership currently consists of: • beverage distributors; • retailers; • municipalities; • recyclers; • environmental organizations; • transportation Industry; and • public-at-large.
