The sims resource & Mod the Sims 2 are good places to start (from there you can find other sites very easily) check out the sims 2 community aswell. To add to your game you need to have win rar or win zip (or similar) program installed on your pc. When you download the items you need to open them in winrar/winzip go to extract to/my documents/ea games/sims 2/downloads. Hope this helps!
