What is the best way to wire a low voltage outdoor garden lighting system?
There are several ways to connect outdoor garden lighting to a low volatge transformer. They all have their pros and cons, but a hub wired system will reduce the cost of wiring (no need for heavy gauge copper wiring), provides a consistant voltage at each light fixture (halogen lights operate in a narrow voltage range) and insures a consistent light output from each fixture. When you understand all the issues, a hub wired system makes the most sense for low voltage outdoor garden lighting.
